About Us

A little about Matt:

"I’m Matt, a father of 4 and husband to my beautiful wife Niccole of 16 years. I’m a Seminary student at Anderson University and in the process of becoming an ordained minister in the Church of God, searching for the right fit for my family. I enjoy making music recreationally and woodworking. My wife has always given me inspiration and ideas which I make come to life. Each piece I make is one-of-a-kind, handcrafted in my garage workshop. I welcome custom orders and look forward to creating pieces that will compliment your style! All of my pieces can be found in the 'Preacher's Boards Originals.'"

A little about Caleb:

"I'm Caleb, I've long thought of building and selling wood pieces, but never had specifically set aside the time to focus on it. My brother, Matt, offered for me to start selling some of my items with him on Facebook earlier this year. Due to the overwhelming positive responses of friends and family, we have each been putting some more time and effort into this.

"I would like to say a special thank you to my wife, Jessica, for her help with graphic design, as well as her support and believing in and me as we work together with Matt and Niccole to continue making these beautiful pieces.

"I also handcraft each piece in my own garage workshop and you can find all of my pieces listed under the "Against the Grain Collection."
